So what do Superheroes eat? While planning our Superheroes tea, I found that in fact they don’t each very much at all – maybe the odd burger or hotdog, pizzas for Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, or spinach for Popeye. This didn’t sound very appealing or life prolonging to me, so I thought that we should definitely introduce some Superfoods into our Superheroes’ tea. Superfoods are foods which are thought by some people to have special nutritional properties.
Many of us actively try to maintain a healthy lifestyle which includes eating a balanced diet in order to help prolong an active, healthy life. However, tea traditionally involves cake, and while our dietary intentions are good, who wouldn’t be disappointed if we only had raw fruits, nuts and seeds for a special tea… after all, we’re only human.
